Smart Tangsel is an abbreviation for Selectively Observing the Reality of South Tangerang. This program is an enrichment of the interactive program between the South Tangerang City Government and its citizens which has been running through the gate-way SMS program at 087888996363 and the official email – [email protected].
With Smart Tangsel , residents can provide input or reports to the South Tangerang City Government about conditions occurring in the area such as damaged roads, scattered rubbish and other problems accompanied by photos or drawings.
Messages from citizens in the form of photos accompanied by photo descriptions and the position or location of the incident/event linked to Google-map, are filtered by the admin and forwarded to the official involved in the reported problem for a response. Other residents can also provide responses to this photo report. The filter function carried out by the admin is needed to anticipate the entry of irresponsible photos such as violence, pornography, and so on.
